Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been in contact with Jorginho’s representatives about a potential summer move.

A number of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports that recently emerged from the Daily Mail which suggested that Spurs are amongst the cluster of Premier League sides taking a serious look at Napoli’s Jorginho ahead of the summer.
Jorginho appears to be one of the most highly sought-after players in Europe right now, with the Daily Mail suggesting that Manchester City, Manchester United, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal are all looking at the 26-year-old rated at £53 million. Tottenham have reportedly made contact with his representatives.

The Italy international has made 31 Serie A appearances this term, scoring twice and providing four assists and generally proving to be a real stalwart of the midfield for the Stadio San Paolo outfit this season.
For Spurs fans, it appears that it is an exciting link. The London Evening Standard recently reported that Mousa Dembele’s Tottenham career may come to an end in the summer, so Mauricio Pochettino may have to replace the Belgian during the coming months.

While some are either convinced that Spurs cannot win the race given the spending power of some of the teams in the chase, and others are not entirely convinced that he may be the best target, the general consensus appears to be that he would be a simply superb signing for Pochettino’s men.
Jorginho has been a real star this term, and a number of supporters feel that he could be a potentially perfect replacement for Dembele should he end up leaving – and they have thus, urged Daniel Levy to do all he can to ensure Spurs are the ones to bag his signature during the upcoming window.
Here is the best of the reaction to the reports…
