Marcus Edwards impressed for Tottenham Hotspur yet again.

Tottenham Hotspur suffered back-to-back International Champions Cup defeats in Australia after losing 1-0 to Atletico Madrid this afternoon.
Spurs went into the pre-season friendly hoping to restore a bit of morale after going down 2-1 to Juventus on Tuesday morning.
But there would be no tonic in Melbourne for Mauricio Pochettino’s side as Diego Godin’s goal on 40 minutes was enough to separate both sides today.

There was, however, some reasons to be cheerful – and one of those was certainly in the performance of young attacking midfielder Marcus Edwards.
The 17-year-old, who started on the bench again, only had 14 minutes to dazzle this time, compared with his half-an-hour against the Bianconceri, but the starlet offered further excitement over his potential with another fine cameo.
Speaking to ESPN after the Juve defeat, Pochettino called for calm regarding the 17-year-old, stressing the importance of not over-hyping him, but the Argentine’s appeal has seemingly fallen on deaf ears as Tottenham fans raved about the prodigy again.
