Tottenham Hotspur supporters were very impressed as reported target Jadon Sancho made his England debut on Friday night.

Several Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter after Jadon Sancho got the chance to make his England debut during their Nations League clash with Croatia on Friday night, with many feeling that the youngster’s cameo provided another reminder of one of Spurs’ biggest missed opportunities for several years.
After a stunning start to the season with Borussia Dortmund, the 18-year-old was handed a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s squad. And he got the chance to make his debut in Rijeka as he came on for the final 12 minutes.
It is clear why there is such a buzz around Sancho at the moment. The winger looked lively and brought some excitement to the stalemate that leaves England six points behind Spain in their Nations League group.
It is not difficult to see why so many Premier League sides are reportedly interested in bringing Sancho back to England. The Daily Mirror reported earlier this month that Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United all have their eye on the teenager, who is rated at £100 million.

That inability to get a deal done before Sancho had established himself at senior level for his club looks costly, especially now that he emerged as the shining light from a fairly underwhelming night for England and will surely not need to wait too long to add to his tally of international caps.

And in response to his performance on Friday, a number of Spurs fans took to Twitter to express their frustration over not signing Sancho when they seemingly had an opportunity before his switch to the Westfalenstadion.
