Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League campaign ended less than a week ago, but they were back in action on Friday afternoon as they took on Kitchee in a post-season friendly in Hong Kong.
Spurs beat Hull City 7-1 on the final day of the Premier League season, and jetted off to the Far East for a post-season friendly with Hong Kong outfit Kitchee, with the Jockey Club Kitchee Centre Challenge Cup up for grabs.

Unsurprisingly, Spurs completely overpowered their opponents, with Heung-min Son and Vincent Janssen striking in the first half, and Harry Kane adding a third in the second half.
Kitchee did pull a goal back through Lucas Silva, but Tottenham ended the scoring with teenage striker Kazaiah Sterling scoring his first goal for the club’s first team late in the day.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino gave playing time to a host of players, including attacker Sterling and fellow youngster Filip Lesniak, with the latter starting the game.
Midfielder Lesniak, 21, made his Premier League debut against Leicester City earlier this month, and played 69 minutes against Kitchee, as Sterling came on as a substitute for the final 21 minutes of the game.

During and after the game, Spurs fans took to Twitter to discuss midfielder Lesniak’s display, with some believing that he has potential to feature in the Premier League next season as he is similar to Harry Winks, though others don’t quite think he has done enough to become a first-team player for Tottenham.
Spurs fans also commented on young striker Sterling, joking that he is better than namesake Raheem Sterling of Manchester City, but also touting him as a future star for Spurs, backing him for first-team football due to his pace.
