Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly make a move for Federico Chiesa in the summer, but the fans are not convinced.

A number of Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports emerging from The Sun over the weekend which suggested that Spurs have made Federico Chiesa their top target ahead of the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men need a lift despite their remarkable run in the Champions League. Their Premier League title hopes are all but over after three defeats in their last four top flight games.
If there is one positive to emerge from that disappointing run, Spurs fans will be hoping that it convinces the club’s hierarchy to spend some serious money when the window opens.
And reports suggest that Daniel Levy may be willing to make a big statement in the summer. The Sun reports that £70 million-rated Fiorentina forward Chiesa has become Tottenham’s key target after a very good campaign in Serie A, where he has scored five goals and provided three assists.

The report suggests that Chelsea, Juventus and both Milan sides are interested. And that may help explain why a lot of the Spurs fans on social media are not convinced that there is anything in the speculation.
It would be a huge outlay for Spurs. And while Chiesa has the potential to be worth more in the future, there are a number of supporters who cannot see Levy sanctioning that kind of bid in the coming months.
