Spurs are heading to M11 on Saturday as Mauricio Pochettino seeks to deliver an early blow to Tottenham’s Premier League rivals.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has taken to Twitter with a message banging the drum ahead of Saturday’s big Premier League clash against Manchester City.
Spurs began their season brightly, coming from behind to run out 3-1 winners over newly-promoted Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week, but as a first away day of the campaign, it could hardly be a more difficult proposition.
Man City not came out on top in a titanic Premier League title race with Liverpool in which the two teams claimed a gargantuan 195 points between them, but also swept the board domestically, picking up the Carabao Cup and FA Cup too.
However, if any team can get the better of Pep Guardiola’s side, it’s Tottenham, as proven in the Champions League last season, and should Mauricio Pochettino’s charges triumph at the Etihad Stadium, it would be a superb psychological boost for Spurs in the 2019-20 campaign – and probably for the other four sides in the big six too.
Alderweireld posted the following message on his Twitter feed, and some fans took the time to respond:
Spurs are still without injured pair Dele Alli and Ryan Sessegnon, plus the suspended Son Heung-min and Juan Foyth, while Ben Davies is nearing fitness and Giovani Lo Celso may be involved after his first full week’s training (BBC Sport).
