Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are mocking Arsenal hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for what he did seconds before Aston Villa took the lead last night.

Arsenal lost 1-0 away to the relegation-threatened Villans and it was Trezeguet’s first-half goal which proved the difference.

But some eagle-eyed Tottenham supporters are in stitches after spotting the Gunners striker switch off just before the original corner was taken.

Aubameyang was seen laughing with a neutral-faced Tyrone Mings, whose sudden run caught the Gabonese player off his guard.

Mings went on to get a faint touch with a header that eventually found its way to the Aston Villa winger to smash home the opener.

Here’s how Spurs fans reacted to how Aubameyang switched off for the North Londoners:

Arsenal had beaten Liverpool and Manchester City in their two previous games since this, having lost to Tottenham nine days ago.

But Mikel Arteta played an under-strength XI due to the Emirates Stadium club’s involvement in the FA Cup final next month.
