Spurs have unfinished business in the transfer market. The question marks hanging over Tanguy Ndombele have left the North London side potentially still in for a midfielder. According to reports in Italy, Spurs could make a January move for Nahitan Nandez.

Tanguy Ndombele exit looming

This summer was a tumultuous one for Spurs, could Nandez be the answer?

Two key assets tried to force a move out of the club: Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele.

The latter allegedly asked for a move and as a result he was left out of every pre-season tie and he didn’t feature in any of Spurs’ five games in August.

Nuno Espirito Santo clearly put his foot down, stamping out dissent in the ranks.

Even though the player apparently now wants to fight for his place we can only assume if an exit presents itself he’ll be off. His exit could prompt a Spurs swoop for Nandez.

Spurs eyeing Nahitan Nandez move

The North London side could well already have their eyes on a replacement.

According to Tuttomercato, Spurs could move for Nahitan Nandez in January.

The outlet has claimed that a number of sides maintain an interest in the Cagliari midfielder, though Inter is the Uruguayan’s preference.

The Serie A side previously wanted around £17m for their centre midfielder, Tuttomercato has claimed he could leave in January if an adequate offer arrives.

A combative player with an eye for a cross when in the right position, he has previously been described as ‘unstoppable’ by the Italian media.
