The Spurs boss has refused to rule out a move for the Belgium midfielder, believed to be on Monaco boss Thierry Henry’s radar.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino appears to have left the door open for Mousa Dembele to leave the club in January.
The 31-year-old midfielder is now in the final six months of his contract and is allowed to speak to overseas clubs to sign a pre-contract deal for a summer move.
Dembele has made 249 appearances for Spurs since his 2012 move from Fulham but has only made 13 appearances this season and just seven Premier League starts.
The Belgium international has largely struggled with an ankle injury this term, which has ruled him out since November, according to Transfermarkt.
A December report from French publication Le 10 Sport suggested that Ligue 1 outfit Monaco – managed by former Arsenal striker and ex-Belgium coach Thierry Henry – are leading the race to sign Spurs man.
Speaking ahead of Friday’s FA Cup third-round trip to Tranmere Rovers, Pochettino was asked by Football.London about whether Dembele could leave this month.

“I don’t know,” said the Argentine. “That is going to be a club decision, of course involved with the player and the people that are with him.”
Football.London also claimed that Pochettino told them he is not aware of any option in Dembele’s contract for the club to extend it by a year, as they have with compatriots Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
Dembele, who has scored 10 goals and registered 12 assists for Spurs over the years (Transfermarkt), returned to training for his club on Thursday but is not available for the cup trip to Tranmere.
