Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Djurgarden sporting director Bo Andersson to North London for Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace.

Tottenham recently pounced to secure an important signing with Lucas Bergvall agreeing to join the club.

The Djurgarden midfielder looked set to sign for Barcelona having emerged as something of a wonderkid in Sweden.

Hailed as an ‘incredible talent’ by teammate Albin Ekdal, Bergvall is a real hot prospect for the future.

Tottenham managed to swoop in and hijack the move, bringing Bergvall to North London in an impressive move.

Bergvall will only join Spurs at the end of the season but the excitement is already building with the 18-year-old having a huge future ahead of him.

Tottenham will be looking forward to Bergvall’s arrival but have plenty to focus on in the here and now.

Spurs are pushing for Champions League qualification and Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace will certainly help.

Football London now report that Daniel Levy welcomed a special guest to the game – Djurgarden sporting director Bo Andersson.

It’s noted that Andersson was taking selfies alongside Levy and Tottenham captain Son Heung-min during his trip to Spurs.

The deal for Bergvall may have far-reaching implications as Tottenham and Djurgarden and now looking into a formal partnership.

It’s stated that Spurs and Djurgarden could share ideas and even young players with Bergvall’s move potentially paving the way for more deals.

Andersson will have discussed that with Levy this weekend, no doubt hoping to lure some Tottenham talents to Sweden for loan deals this summer.

A friendly between Tottenham and Djurgarden is likely too with Bergvall’s move seemingly building strong relations between the two clubs.

Levy’s invitation to Saturday’s game is another step in the right direction for a formal partnership and Bergvall could yet be joined in North London by some other Swedish talents.
