With many teams’ pre-season tours on the horizon, the transfer world is heating up in the Premier League as clubs try to push these deals through before their squads jet off all-over the world.

However, as always, there’s a fair share of unrealistic or unreliable rumours doing the rounds, and with that in mind, we’re going to have a go at rating the five biggest transfer stories of the day based on how likely a transfer is to happen.

Here are Wednesday’s rumours rated.

Manor Solomon to Fulham – 10/10

This one was initially reported as a done deal way back in April, but now, it seems as though the Israeli winger is finally set for Craven Cottage.

According to The Athletic, a loan deal has been agreed, while Fabrizio Romano is led to believe that the player has flown to London to finalise this transfer.

Solomon should become Fulham’s second summer signing after the arrival of Joao Palhinha.

Djed Spence to Tottenham – 10/10

Another transfer that has seemingly been in the pipeline for months, it finally looks as though Djed Spence is going to become a Tottenham player this week.

Indeed, according to The Telegraph, a £15m fee has been agreed between Tottenham and Middlesbrough and a medical has been pencilled in for later this week.

Spence should be a Tottenham player before the weekend and he should join Spurs on their pre-season tour of South Korea at the weekend.

Omar Richards to Nottingham Forest – 8/10

The Athletic have reported that Nottingham Forest are interested in a move for Bayern Munich defender Omar Richards, and this is a move that makes a lot of sense.

The Tricky Trees need a new left-sided defender after Max Lowe’s loan spell came to an end, while Richards would probably be keen to return to England after a tough spell in Bavaria.

This is certainly one that could have legs to it.

Anthony Gordon to Newcastle – 3/10

90Min have reported that Newcastle are keen on Everton youngster Anthony Gordon, but, in all honesty, we can’t see this one coming to fruition.

The Toffees will not be keen to lose Gordon, especially not in the same window as Richarlison, and with Spurs also keen, you have to feel that if the 21-year-old was to leave Goodison Park, he’d go in search of Champions League football rather than just money.

Newcastle are certainly an alluring club at the moment, but we find it hard to imagine that Gordon will be headed to Tyneside this summer.

Lucas Paqueta to Arsenal – 2/10

ESPN Brasil have reported that Arsenal are amongst the clubs that have been in contact with Lucas Paqueta’s agents in recent weeks, but it’s fair to say that this deal won’t be happening.

The Gunners have already added a new number 10 to their ranks this summer in the shape of Fabio Vieira, and with Manchester City and Spurs also keen on Paqueta, it’s hard to imagine the Emirates being his next destination.

The Brazilian could end up in England this summer, but we can’t envisage him joining Arsenal anytime soon.
