According to Rudy Galetti on Twitter, Liverpool and Newcastle United are interested in signing Khephren Thuram from Nice in the summer transfer window.
Newcastle are now reportedly starting to move concretely for the France international midfielder.
The Italian journalist has added that Liverpool are “speeding things up” to make sure that they get a deal done with Nice over Thuram ahead of Newcastle.

The Northern Echo have reported that Nice are looking for £60 million in transfer fees for the 22-year-old.
So, all Liverpool need to do is pay what the French club want for the youngster.
The Merseyside club have already signed Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window.
And they are about to complete the signing of Hungary international attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig.
So, it will be interesting to see if Liverpool owners FSG are willing to spend £60 million on another midfielder this summer.
