Youssouf Mulumbu had been linked with a return to Scottish football after leaving Celtic.

The manager of one of Celtic’s Scottish Premiership rivals appears to have ruled out a move for a player the Bhoys released at the end of last season.
Youssouf Mulumbu moved to Celtic from Kilmarnock in the summer of 2018, but played just three times for the side then managed by Brendan Rodgers before returning to Rugby Park on loan.
Mulumbu has been without a club ever since that deal expired – along with the one-year contract he had initially signed at Celtic Park.
This week, though, the DR Congo international was linked with a return to football with Aberdeen – whom The Daily Record claims were interested bringing him to Pittodrie.

But asked about Mulumbu and Gary O’Neil, the former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Aberdeen are said to have held talks with, the Dons boss said, as quoted by The Daily Record: “There won’t be any players arriving in the short-term.”
Aberdeen were beaten 4-0 by Celtic at Pittodrie on Sunday.
