Writing on Liverpool’s official club website, Pep Lijnders has claimed that Kostas Tsimikas has scored an absolute banger in Liverpool training.
You often see world-class goals scored in training sessions, and Lijnders reckons that Tsimikas has netted a screamer.
Lijnders says that Tsimikas banged in a spectacular left-footed volley on Wednesday.
What’s been said?
Lijnders was giving a run-down of the Reds’ recent training sessions.
“During Wednesday morning’s session, the volley of Kostas smashing it in with his left foot probably won the most spectacular goal award. Sadio also scored one with his left foot from an impossible angle, so not sure who I would give the most spectacular goal award to,” Lijnders wrote.

Wand of a left foot
We may not have seen much of Kostas Tsimikas at Liverpool, but one thing is for sure, he’s a great ball-striker.
Indeed, just like Andy Robertson, Tsimikas has a great technique when it comes to crossing and shooting.
It’s no wonder the Reds signed the Greek last summer, and while he hasn’t had much of a chance due to Robertson’s continued brilliance, it sounds as though he’s a very talented footballer.
Fingers crossed we get to see Tsimikas score a couple of screamers in this upcoming season.
