‘Special talent’: Some Leeds fans impressed by one Arsenal player yesterday

Leeds United fans were impressed by Bukayo Saka’s performance for Arsenal yesterday as Mikel Arteta’s men recorded a 4-2 win at the Emirates.

In a typically lively encounter involving the Yorkshire side, it was Arsenal who had the upper hand during the early stages, with the North London racing into a 4-0 lead inside 47 minutes.

Arsenal’s ‘special’ talent, Saka, was at the heart of it all, as he ran riot against Leeds, who tried to fight back with goals from Pascal Struijk and Helder Costa after the hour mark, but it wasn’t enough.

Nonetheless, the Leeds faithful were impressed with what they saw on the night, especially from Saka and how he caused them numerous problems.

Whilst Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stole the headlines because he netted a hat-trick, the Leeds fans felt it was Arsenal’s academy product who shone the brightest.

The England international won two penalties – one of which was overturned – and was a constant threat in those pockets and in behind Leeds’ defence throughout the game.

The versatile attacker didn’t manage to get on the scoresheet, but it was yet another impressive display from one of England’s rising stars.
