Arsenal fans will be glued to Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City but there has been one confirmed departure from the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners did their job on Sunday afternoon, beating Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford.

Arsenal fans now find themselves in rather unfamiliar territory – hoping for a Tottenham Hotspur win.

Spurs host Manchester City on Tuesday night and a home win would put the Premier League title in Arsenal’s hands.

All the focus is on the Arsenal title charge right now, so much so that the departure of an exciting young talent may have gone somewhat under the radar…

Kido Taylor-Hart confirms Arsenal exit

The end of the season is in sight and Arsenal will have difficult decisions to make.

Experienced players like Cedric Soares and Mohamed Elneny are out of contract and look set to leave this summer.

Further down the Arsenal ranks, decisions will be made on young players as Arsenal weigh up whether certain talents have futures at the club.

The brutal truth is that not everybody can become a first-team star like Bukayo Saka and many talents have to move on.

Kido Taylor-Hart falls into that category and has now confirmed his exit.

The 21-year-old forward has spent the season on loan at non-league side Bromley and will now become a free agent.

Taylor-Hart has taken to Instagram to thank the staff and coaches he has worked with Arsenal, showing his gratitude to everybody he crossed paths with in his 13 years at Arsenal.

Taylor-Hart added that ‘it’s time to move on’ but that he is excited for the next step in his career.

The right winger has only made nine appearances on loan at Bromley, scoring one goal.

Arsenal clearly feel that Taylor-Hart just isn’t going to make the grade at the Emirates Stadium and it’s best to let him go.

Branded a ‘special talent’ by former Arsenal scout Brian Stapleton, Taylor-Hart was considered to be a top prospect just a few years ago.

Taylor-Hart now needs a fresh start away from Arsenal and he surely won’t be short of interest having announced his Gunners exit.
