Leeds United winger Raphinha has told Chelsea that he does not want to move to Stamford Bridge and is keen on a switch to Barcelona instead, according to 90min.
90min have reported that Leeds and Brazil international winger Raphinha ‘has made it clear to Chelsea he wants to move to Barcelona’.
Chelsea reportedly have an agreement in place with Leeds over the transfer of the 25-year-old, but Barcelona are now willing to meet the Whites’ asking price.
Barcelona over Chelsea for Leeds United winger Raphinha
We can understand why Leeds United winger Raphinha wants to join Barcelona and not Chelsea.

Yes, Chelsea are a big club and a global brand, but Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in the world and are hugely popular in Brazil.
Brazilian legends such as Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho have played for Barcelona, and we are not surprised that Raphinha – described as “an exciting player” and “special” by Leeds Director of Football Victor Orta on COPE’s Great Match show – wants to play for the Blaugrana as well.
Raphinha has scored 17 goals and created 22 big chances in 65 appearances in the Premier League for Leeds so far in his career.
