Speaking on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel, Gareth Bale has named what he believes to be the greatest moment of his Tottenham Hotspur career.
The Welshman will undoubtedly go down as one of Spurs’ greatest players of all time, and he’s had some fantastic moments in north London, but in his view, the greatest moment he ever had with Tottenham was their win against Inter back in 2010.
What did he say?
Bale says that the win against Inter just after they’d won the Champions League was the greatest moment he ever had with Spurs.
“When we beat Inter Milan when I was here. We were at White Hart Lane, it was rocking and they were the European Champions. Those old stadiums are very close to the pitch and the fans were incredible that night, as they always are, and it was just a special atmosphere and one that will stick with me forever,” Bale said.

What else could it have been?
Bale has had so many great moments in a Spurs shirt, but let’s be honest, that game against Inter was undoubtedly the best.
On a personal level, Bale could easily have chosen the reverse fixture where he scored a hat-trick, but the Welshman was arguably just as good in the 3-1 win at White Hart Lane.
Indeed, Bale really announced himself on the world stage with those two performances against Inter, and he’s only gone from strength to strength since then.
It’s easy to see why Bale will go down as a legend in north London.
