Casemiro has labelled Liverpool target, Vinicius Junior, as an ‘outstanding’ player, as he told Marca.
The Real Madrid player claimed that it’s ‘special’ for him to play alongside the 21-year-old, both at club and international level.
One of the rising and most-improved stars in European football, Vinicius Junior is becoming one of the top youngsters in world football and there is no wonder clubs like Liverpool are lurking for his signature.
Defensa Central have claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to bring the goalscoring wideman to Merseyside in the summer.
From scoring only three La Liga goals last season, the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti has transformed Vinicius, who has already bagged 12 in 21 during this campaign.
Casemiro gets to see the speedster first-hand, in training and out on the pitch, as the midfielder lauded his talents.
“Vinicius, at Real Madrid, has been an outstanding player for us,” said Casemiro.
“It’s special for me, who meet with him every day and a privilege to play alongside him.
“It’s a kid that I have seen his growth in the club. He arrived with high expectations but it’s normal to have an adaptation period, to learn about the country and the league.
“Of course, in the national team it’s a different way of playing, another adaptation, competition (for a position) is different.”

Real Madrid have a rich history of Brazilian players working their magic on the Santiago Bernabéu turf.
So, when a fresh-faced 18-year-old was signed up by the La Liga giants for £39 million from Flamengo in 2018 (BBC Sport), it came with its level of expectation and pressure.
Understandably so, Vinicius needed time to settle in and this season he has taken his game to much higher heights.
His name might not get mentioned alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland, but one thing is for sure, his footballing talents are coming at them like a steam train.
