Atletico Madrid signed the right-back from Tottenham Hotspur last month.

Kieran Trippier left Tottenham for Atletico Madrid in a £20 million deal earlier this summer, (BBC Sport) and he has already made an impact in the Spanish capital.
The 28-year-old set up Alvaro Morata to score Atleti’s winner against Getafe on the opening day of the La Liga campaign, and he has already earned rave reviews from the Spanish press.
Spain’s most reputable newspaper Marca offered a glowing review of Trippier’s competitive debut for Atletico:
“One of the biggest stories of Sunday evening’s victory over Getafe, beyond the star factor provided by Joao Felix, was the performance of Kieran Trippier. The Englishman has adapted to Atletico’s right-back position like a glove, providing a perfect fit just like his crosses are for Alvaro Morata. His crossing is almost akin to his idol, David Beckham, and you could tell as he delivered the cross for Morata on Sunday evening which was his first assist in his debut game.”
Trippier experienced a difficult campaign for Tottenham last season, and because of that, the Spurs fans were not too unhappy with his exit from the club this summer.
And although it’s still early days, the England international has already shown signs in Spain that he could be a real hit for Diego Simeone’s side.

The right-back established himself as one of the very best in his field during the 2017/18 campaign with Tottenham, and if he can rediscover that form for Atletico, £20 million will seem like an absolute bargain for the Spanish side.
And after early praise from Marca, he seems to be on the right track to doing just that.
