Chelsea striker Fernando Torres impresses with a goal as Spain end their dismal World Cup campaign with a 3-0 win over Australia
Pepe Reina 6 – Was pretty quiet in goal but did well to clear the ball straight after David Villa’s goal.
Juanfran 7 – Got forward well from the back and provided a good assist for Villa’s goal.
Raul Albiol 6 – Looked pretty solid at the back with Sergio Ramos but wasn’t tested nearly enough.
Sergio Ramos 6 – Looked a bit out of sorts, that may well be down to his head not being in the game. Got booked for a silly foul.
Jordi Alba 7 – Played well defensively and a real threat going forward, nearly got a goal early on after latching onto a clever Villa back heel.
Xabi Alonso 6 – Really didn’t see enough of him, was missing for most of the match.
Koke 7 – Played well and helped out going forward but didn’t do anything really cutting edge.
Andres Iniesta 7 – Great pass to Fernando Torres for the second goal, and always probed the defence but wasn’t clear cut enough.
Santi Cazorla 7 – Fitted in well to that competitive midfield and really relished his minutes. Much like Iniesta though, failed to do anything particularly special.
Fernando Torres 7 – Game of two halves for this lad, struggled in the first half but really imposed himself in the second causing lots of problems and even scoring with a nice finish.
David Villa 8 – Begs the question as to why Spain’s top scorer didn’t start the first two matches. Sealed off his international career in style with a brilliantly taken goal.

Juan Mata 7 – Played superbly when he came on and took his finish well, very unlucky to not get anymore minutes at this World Cup.
Cesc Fábregas 6 – Only 20 minutes for the new Chelsea boy after the rift with coach Vincent del Bosque, but clipped a great ball into Mata for his goal.
