Both of Liverpool’s misfiring strikers were loaned out by Jurgen Klopp last season.

Turkish giants Besiktas could be set to offer Liverpool duo Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi a route out of Anfield.
An a Spor report claims that the Black Eagles are considering making a move for the out-of-favour strikers, alongside Andre-Pierre Gignac, who currently plays for Mexican side, Tigres UANL.

Both Origi and Sturridge were loaned out by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp last season, with the German favouring Roberto Firmino as a lone striker flanked by Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Origi was sent to Wolfsburg at the start of the campaign but failed to impress in the Bundesliga, scoring just seven goals in 37 appearances, whilst Sturridge was again plagued by injuries during the first half of the season before his loan move to West Bromwich Albion in January.

The fantastic form of Firmino, Mane and Salah, who scored 91 goals between them last term, means that Klopp is likely to deem Origi and Sturridge surplus to requirement next season, and a move to Turkey could be the perfect opportunity for a fresh start.
While Besiktas are not exactly powerhouses of modern football – they finished fourth in the Turkish Super Lig last season – they boast a fairly impressive squad, featuring the likes of former Real Madrid defender Pepe, Croatia international Gary Medel and Euro 2012 winner Ricardo Quaresma.
They also finished top of their Champions League group in 2017/18 without losing a game, before being knocked out by Bayern Munich in the last 16.

Turkey has also been a popular destination for several Premier League players in recent years, including Martin Skrtel, Roberto Soldado, Robin van Persie and Alvaro Negredo.
It’s almost certain that both players would prefer to stay on English soil next season, but a move to Besiktas shouldn’t be scoffed at if bids do come in.
