The talented utility player is looking to play regular football with Southend on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
This week saw Tottenham Hotspur send out one of their young talents on loan. Luke Amos has joined Southend United on loan until the end of the season. The midfielder, who can also play at full-back, will be hoping to help the League One side in their hunt for promotion to the Championship.
It is certainly a move that has the Shrimpers boss excited.
Phil Brown has been speaking to the Southend Echo about the deal to sign Amos and is looking forward to the impact he might make at the club:

“I’ve watched Luke four or five times this season and when Spurs rang us to say he was available I jumped at the chance of bringing him in.
“He’s technically good, has great energy and also gets in the face of the opposition.
“He also has a great attitude which was shown by how he was cleaning up the dressing room after Saturday’s game which showed old habits die hard.”

Southend are right to be excited. Amos is one of the hotter prospects at White Hart Lane and has made the matchday squad for Spurs this season and is a regular in first-team training sessions.
The 19-year-old England youth international has potential and the hope will be he can find a niche and gain some first-team experience out on loan at Roots Hall.
Tottenham fans will no doubt hope so, as they hope he can become a future first-teamer. Southend on the other hand will just hope he can have a positive impact on the team until the end of the season.
