Should Southampton consider Simon Mignolet?

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet faces a big summer after losing his place for the Reds.
Mignolet is now second choice behind Loris Karius, and could slip to third if Liverpool sign another goalkeeper this summer.
A club which should take a look is Premier League side Southampton, who have been linked in recent days with moving on from goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

Forster has been a regular at Southampton when fit since he signed from Celtic in 2014.
The Sun this week reported that the Saints are eyeing West Brom stopper Ben Foster, perhaps in relation to Forster’s underwhelming form this season.
Mignolet would be a smart option for Southampton if they are in the market for a new number one, and the Belgian expressed his dissatisfaction at being a substitute in midweek.
Mignolet wants to play regularly to prolong his international ambitions, and a move away from Liverpool is looking like it’s necessary.
If they can retain their Premier League status then Southampton could be well placed to offer him a starting spot if as reported, they are considering moving on from Forster.
Many players have moved from Southampton to Liverpool in recent seasons, but Mignolet could become a rarity in electing to make the opposite switch for the sake of his career.
