The two strikers would be useful, cheap options for Southampton.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl will undoubtedly be looking to bolster his attacking ranks at St Mary’s this summer, with more quality needed if his side are to push on for a top 10 place next season.
The Saints are not flush with cash, however, so the Austrian might have to be clever in the way that he recruits this summer.
With this in mind, there are two fantastic options for Southampton – Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge, both of whom are available on free transfers this summer.
Danny Welbeck:
The Arsenal hitman is out of contract this summer, and despite his recent injury problems, he would still be a useful option for the Saints.
The 28-year-old possesses blistering pace, and would provide Hasenhuttl with an entirely different option through the middle.
He is still at an age where he has a lot to give, and he might well flourish if given the opportunity to play regularly on the south coast.

Daniel Sturridge:
A different player to Welbeck, the Liverpool front-man is more of a fox-in-the-box type player.
The 29-year-old is a clinical finisher, and would surely help Southampton improve upon the potency of their play in the final third.
Sturridge has also suffered with injuries, however, so signing him would not be without risk, but it should be one that Southampton are brave enough to take.
