Southampton were linked with Theo Walcott before he moved to Everton last year.

Southampton could have a golden chance to bring Theo Walcott back to St. Mary’s now that Everton are reportedly considering selling the 30-year-old.
Walcott started his career at Southampton and was tentatively linked with a move back to the south coast, before he opted to join Everton in a £20 million deal (Telegraph).
The former Arsenal man’s move to Goodison Park has not been a roaring success though, and he has lost his place under Marco Silva.
Walcott may not be the blistering forward that he once was, but a return to familiar surroundings at Southampton could be perfect for him.

The England international appears to have lost confidence in recent months, however he would surely join Southampton as a key player.
And his experience could really help to push Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side on to the next level.
The Austrian boss has demanded his squad play at a fast pace since arriving, which could bring the very best out of Walcott.
Southampton now have their biggest chance yet of bringing Walcott back, and it is an opportunity that they should seize at the end of the season.
