The former Saint is currently in some of his best form.
Southampton midfielder Oriol Romeu has been speaking about the England national team this week, with his country Spain taking them on at Wembley in an international friendly.
The Saints defensive midfielder has been commenting on the England team and pointed out a Liverpool star as one to watch out for from Gareth Southgate’s men. Of course, he means a former Southampton player in Adam Lallana.

He told Marca:
“For the players it’s perfect and the atmosphere at Wembley will be very special.
“For me, [Adam Lallana] is the player to look out for. He’s dangerous near the area and gets in between the lines.”
Lallana left Southampton after 14 years in 2014, joining Liverpool after emerging as an England international during his time at Southampton in the Premier League.
England’s Adam Lallana
His departure certainly irks Saints fans, who would have liked him to remain with the club for his entire career.
Now the 28-year-old is in some of the best form of his career. He is a pivotal member of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side and has now scored two goals in his last two appearances for the England team.

Romeu may not be supposed to praise Lallana, given he is an ex-Saint, but on current form he is fairly hard to ignore.
Liverpool fans will hope that form continues.
