Southampton talent and Wales international Lloyd Isgrove will be in action in the League One play-off final this weekend as his current loan club Barnsley take on Millwall at Wembley.
The winger has impressed at Barnsley and it remains to be seen whether or not he has done enough to impress Southampton enough to move him closer to the first team.

Speaking to the Yorskhire Post today Isgrove mentioned the contact he continues to have with his parent club:
“Southampton keep in touch. They have people who watch me and they also speak to me regularly. They are a good family club and I think they are happy with how things are going.”
Southampton of course have a good record for developing young talent. Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gareth Bale all came through the ranks at St Mary’s and Isgrove will certainly be hoping to follow in those footsteps – starting with impressing at Wembley.

The 23-year-old is starting to get on a bit in regards to making his Southampton breakthrough and will need to do so this summer if he is to have a long-term future with the club.
In the past he has spent time on loan at Peterborough United and Sheffield Wednesday but the one cap Welsh international is enjoying his best season yet with the Tykes.
Hopefully it will be enough to earn him a future at Southampton.
