The Saints Twitter channel showed the St Mary’s summer signing looking sharp in training.

A number of Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the club sharing a video on their Twitter channel of Che Adams weighing in with some impressive finishes on the training ground.
Adams arrived at St Mary’s Stadium to much fanfare in the summer but he is yet to get off the mark for the Saints and has lost his first-team place in recent weeks, with Ralph Hasenhuttl giving him just nine minutes of action from the club’s last three Premier League games.
The 23-year-old is undoubtedly a great striker, as per his record at Birmingham City, and he is looking sharp in training as the club showed in their video, but nonetheless some Southampton fans are wondering when he will finally be able to break his duck in a competitive game.
There was also a lot of more positive feedback too:
Adams made the switch to the Saints from Championship side Birmingham City on a five-year-deal for a reported £15million fee after three years at St Andrew’s, where he scored 38 goals in 123 appearances (BBC Sport).
The striker, who has previously been compared to Ronaldo and Jermain Defoe (The Guardian) by ex-teammates, had a bright pre-season in which he claimed three goals and three assists in four friendlies.
