Southampton suffered an agonising defeat at home to Claude Puel’s side, conceding a stoppage-time winner at St Mary’s.

A number of Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to slam Cedric Soares’ performance during the Saints’ agonising defeat to Leicester City that only leaves Mark Hughes’ men outside the bottom three in the Premier League on goal difference.
The Saints took the lead at St Mary’s thanks to a stunning strike from captain Ryan Bertrand in the early stages of the second-half. However, Leicester would equalise shortly after through Demarai Gray. And unfortunately, the game would unravel from there for the home side.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg picked up a second yellow card after diving in the penalty box and Harry Maguire’s stoppage-time drive saw the visitors bag the three points, allowing Claude Puel to pick up a win against his former employers.

The right-back’s poor header led to Gray’s equaliser – especially as he seemed oblivious to the fact that he had simply headed the ball straight up into the air and started to run towards the wing – and many feel that Mark Hughes has got a major problem at right-back.
Having released Jeremy Pied this summer, Cedric has no rivals for his place within the senior squad. And many of the supporters are convinced that the Portuguese has become too complacent over his spot in the team.

Here is what some of the fans made of Cedric’s display against the Foxes…
