Southampton fans react to Takumi Minamino display against Chelsea

Some Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance and goal from Liverpool-owned Takumi Minamino against Chelsea.

Minamino, signed on loan from Liverpool in the January transfer window, was in action for Southampton in their Premier League game against Chelsea at St. Mary’s Stadium this afternoon.

The 26-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, started the match and played for 76 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Japan international has been playing well and has been among the goals for the Saints, and he found the back of the net again against Chelsea.

Minamino scored a wonderful goal in the 33rd minute to put the Saints in the lead.

During his time on the pitch against Chelsea today, the 26-year-old took one shot which ended in goal, had a pass accuracy of 65.5%, and took 38 touches, according to WhoScored.
