The Southampton left-back has been linked with an exit from St Mary’s this summer.

Southampton ace Ryan Bertrand is a summer transfer target for Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan, according to a report from the Daily Mail, and some Saints fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 29-year-old joined Southampton from Chelsea for £10 million (Daily Mail) in January 2015, and he has been one of their most consistent performers over the past few years.
He has just two years remaining on his current deal with the Saints, however, and given the fact that he will turn 30 before the start fo the new season, it might just make sense to cash in on him now.
The Daily Mail claims that Southampton will demand around £15 million for the 19-capped England international, and if they receive that amount, it would surely have to be considered as decent business for the south coast club.

If Bertrand does leave St Mary’s this summer, Matt Targett could be promoted to first choice left-back, although Ralph Hasenhuttl will surely look to bring in a top class replacement.
