Southampton are reportedly open to offers for Mario Lemina this summer, and the majority of fans do not appear to be happy.

A number of Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from The Telegraph which suggested that Mario Lemina is one of the players that the club will consider selling this summer.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s first summer has kicked into gear, with Che Adams joining Moussa Djenepo in moving to St Mary’s, while Matt Targett has become the latest player to leave the club, with the left-back joining Aston Villa.

It would not be a big surprise to see a number of further changes take place before the new season starts. The Telegraph has listed a number of players who are up for sale this summer, with Lemina one of those included.

Lemina’s time on the south coast has been a mixed one so far. There are not many midfielders in the Premier League who have more ability than the former Juventus man, but he has been nowhere near consistent enough to hold down a regular spot in Southampton’s midfield.

But despite his struggles, the reports that he is apparently available have not gone down particularly well amongst the Saints fans on social media.

Hasenhuttl has already worked his magic on a number of players within his squad since his arrival, and some of the supporters believe that Lemina could be a frightening player if the pair can click this summer. It is clear that plenty believe that it would be a huge mistake to let him go.
