Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino is under pressure.

Southampton are in a perilous position in the Premier League and could have a big decision to make.
While a 1-1 draw against Tottenham was a creditable result, their position of 18th in the table shows an under performing side.
New manager Mauricio Pellegrino has led the team to just four league wins all season, and supporters are understandably concerned.
Now the Saints may have been presented with an opportunity, with Watford firing highly rated manager Marco Silva.
The Independent reported last May that Silva was on Southampton’s shortlist after his spell at Hull City.
He was eventually appointed by Watford and became the subject of Everton’s interest earlier this season, with the Hornets standing firm.

Unfortunately a subsequent loss of form has led to the notoriously impatient Watford board deciding on a fresh approach, and Silva is now on the market.
With the transfer window still open, if Southampton do make a move, now is the time to do so.
Supporters are keen for a shake up, and feel the Saints must make a big call…
