Manolo Gabbiadini scored Southampton’s opening goal against West Ham United on Saturday.
Southampton scored a late penalty to earn a 3-2 victory against West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Saints took the early lead through Italian striker Manolo Gabbiadini. The 25-year-old’s goal ended Southampton’s run of 9 hours & 15 minutes without a Premier League goal at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Gabbiadini joined Southampton in January, 2017 from Napoli, and scored six goals in 12 matches in all competitions last season.
The 25-year-old is an instinctive finisher. For the first goal, he positioned himself brilliantly and placed the ball past the outstretched arms of Joe Hart.

The Saints have made a good start to their Premier League campaign under Mauricio Pellegrino, having picked up four points from their opening two games.
