Southampton continued their superb form since the restart as they beat Bournemouth 2-0 this afternoon.
The Saints had drawn three games in a row heading into today’s game, but had lost just one of their seven games since the Premier League returned.
A short trip to Bournemouth was on the agenda for Ralph Hasenhuttl today, and he saw Danny Ings score yet again to put the Saints in front.
Ings had a chance to add to his account, but saw his penalty saved by Aaron Ramsdale, giving the Cherries hope of a late fightback.
Sam Surridge appeared to have saved Bournemouth with a late equaliser, but VAR ruled it out – and Southampton went and sealed it with a Che Adams goal.
Hasenhuttl’s side were impressive once again, and right back Kyle Walker-Peters enjoyed another strong outing.

The Tottenham loanee has shown real quality recently, and could join Southampton permanently as part of a deal for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Fans took to Twitter to hail Walker-Peters, branding him ‘brilliant’ and ‘outstanding’ whilst urging the club to get on the phone to Tottenham right now in order to get him signed up.
