Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Jannik Vestergaard against Sheffield United.
Vestergaard was in action for Southampton in their Premier League game against United away from home at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Although the Saints won 1-0, the central defender’s performance left much to be desired.
The 27-year-old Denmark international was shaky on occasions and his positioning was far from perfect, and he was often exposed by Billy Sharp.
According to WhoScored, Vestergaard took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 75.9%, won seven headers, and made one tackle, one interception and five clearances.
Southampton fans were not impressed with the display produced by Vestergaard and have criticised him on Twitter.
