Southampton fans react to Jack Stephens display against West Ham

Jack Stephens was in action for Southampton against West Ham United on Saturday.

Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Jack Stephens against West Ham United.

Stephens featured for Southampton in their Premier League game against West Ham away from home at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 25-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Hammers won 3-0.

The former England Under-21 international did not play well and made mistakes at the back.

According to WhoScored, against West Ham on Saturday, Stephens had a pass accuracy of 74.3%, won one header, and made four interceptions, four clearances and two blocks.

The defender has made 18 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Saints this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.

The defeat to the Hammers means that the Saints are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 38 points from 37 matches.

Southampton fans were not pleased with the display produced by Stephens and have strongly criticised him on Twitter.
