Stephens featured for Southampton in their Premier League game against Huddersfield at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The 25-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it finished in a 1-1 draw.
The former England Under-21 international did not have a good game, as he made a couple of bad passes and could have done better.
According to WhoScored, Stephens had a pass accuracy of 69.6%, won seven headers, and made one interception, three clearances and one block.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the defender made 19 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Southampton, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
Southampton fans were not impressed with the display produced by Stephens and do not want the defender in the team next season.
