Adam Lallana left Southampton for Liverpool back in 2014, and has been linked with a move back this summer.

Southampton fans appear glad that Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has ruled out a potential return.
Southampton fans have still not entirely forgiven Lallana for the way he left St. Mary’s to move to Liverpool for £25 million (Metro) back in 2014.
However, the Liverpool man suggested that he was intending to stay at Anfield.
“Yeah. Absolutely no question about it. I couldn’t be happier here, winning Champions Leagues,” Lallana said to the Mirror.
“I know my ability and I know what I can give. And the gaffer and his staff and the recruitment guys have all made it clear they know I have a big part to play with what’s to come next, so I’m buzzing with that.”
The comments have gone down well with Southampton supporters, who claim that they did not want Lallana back anyway.
Whether Lallana will play more at Liverpool remains to be seen, as he faces fierce competition for a place.
Southampton, meanwhile, are looking to strengthen their attacking ranks this summer, but it seems that they will be looking for other options rather than Lallana.
