
Some Southampton fans on social media have been reacting to reports that Che Adams has decided to represent Scotland at international level.
The striker has been in red-hot form this season, netting seven Premier League goals so far this term, and that sort of form has caught the eye of Steve Clarke.
Adams has often been tipped for big things, and it seems as though he’s finally delivering on those promises.
You can understand why Clarke has looked at Adams. Scotland don’t have the best depth up front, and he’d add another element to the side heading into the Euros this summer.
As you can imagine, Southampton fans had plenty to say about this.
Some supporters were very happy to see the striker being given some international recognition after his strong season, while others were a bit more concerned, citing potential injury and covid quarantine issues as reasons to be concerned.
Adams is certainly a player capable of playing on the international stage, and it seems as though the striker is finally going to get his chance for Scotland.
