Southampton drew 1-1 away at Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday.
Southampton’s Fraser Forster
Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to express their frustration after watching their 1-1 draw with Brighton on Sunday, and much of the anger has been directed at goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
Mauricio Pellegrino’s men were looking to build on their win against West Brom last weekend, and they got off to the perfect start as Steven Davis reacted first to a free-kick that came off the woodwork to break the deadlock inside the first seven minutes.

However, Brighton would ensure that the points would be shared as Glenn Murray scored shortly after the break with a header – and that goal has resulted in plenty of criticism coming Forster’s way.
The 29-year-old appeared to move slowly across his line as Murray got his head to the ball, and that seemed to mean that by the time he got a hand to the header, he was unable to palm the ball out of the net.

The Englishman’s form has arguably been generally below par for a while now, and the supporters have taken to social media to express their frustration about the situation surrounding the stopper.
Many feel that he is costing the Saints points, with a handful of mistakes already coming this season, and some have urged Pellegrino to give Alex McCarthy a chance between the sticks as Forster cannot be relied upon.
Here is the best of the reaction…
