Newcastle United have been linked with both Theo Walcott and Daniel Sturridge in recent times.

Southampton want Arsenal’s Walcott and Liverpool’s Sturridge, as they look to re-invest the money they have raised for Virgil van Dijk.
The pair are both believed to be available, as Sturridge and Walcott have both failed to break into their side’s respective starting line-ups this season.

With Newcastle needing to strengthen their attack, a move for Sturridge and Walcott could be perfect for Rafael Benitez’s side.
However, the stumbling block for Newcastle is their lack of funds.
Newcastle are still waiting to find out if Amanda Staveley will be able to agree a deal with Mike Ashley to buy the club.

Staveley is expected to provide funds to Benitez, if she does take over, and a double move for both Sturridge and Walcott would be a serious statement of intent.
Newcastle have struggled for goals this term, but with Sturridge and Walcott in their squad they would look a much greater threat, and if Benitez was allowed to complete the double-deal it would surely be enough to keep the Tynesiders in the Premier League for another year.
