The Tottenham Hotspur forward has been in good form this season.

South Korean national coach Tae-Yong Shin has been speaking about the potential of Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-min Son.

The South Korean international has been in good form for Spurs this season. In the summer, it looked like he could be moved on by Spurs, after he struggled for consistency in his first season at White Hart Lane. This campaign has been much more fruitful – with Son scoring five goals in 10 games.

Shin is the current South Korea assistant manager and managed Son for the South Korea Olympic team at the Rio Olympics this summer.

Speaking to Sky Sports this week he had this to say about the development of Tottenham’s forward:

“Son is still very young, but his potential is huge and I wouldn’t want to put a limit on how much he can grow.

“When I first saw him, he was just a fast player, without expert performance. But, as time goes by, he is getting more skilled with his feet, especially around the penalty box. This is the reason why Tottenham paid so much money to sign him.

“He doesn’t have any major areas to improve now – but he’ll continue to develop automatically as time passes.”

Tonight will see Son going up against his former team Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League. He is currently having a small dip in form, with five struggling performances and no goals in those appearances.

Tonight, at Wembley, he will be hoping to grab a goal against his former club to get back on track yet again.

At just 24-years-old, Spurs will hope he can go on to become a star for the first-team.
