HITC understands that Crystal Palace are ready to part ways with manager Roy Hodgson.
HITC revealed at the start of February that Steve Parish was ready to sack Hodgson and now the decision has been made.

Parish and Palace’s hierarchy has been assessing options available to the club, which included former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper and ex-Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui, whilst he has been impressed by Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna.
But Parish was not convinced to axe Hodgson as he did not want to part company with the former England boss, but things have now changed after he found the man he wants.
Leading candidate
The leading candidate has now emerged as former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner and sources have confirmed he has spoken to Parish and has impressed the Palace chief.
HITC has been informed that co-owner John Textor has pushed for Glasner – who has been out of work since leaving Frankfurt last summer.
During his time with Frankfurt Glasner won the Europa League – beating Rangers in 2022 and also took them to the Champions League group stages.
Premier League appeal
Glasner has been linked with a host of positions in the last 12-months but the prospect of moving to the Premier League is understood to be a huge appeal to the Austrian.
Glasner was on Tottenham’s shortlist to replace Antonio Conte before they made their move for Ange Postecoglou.
