Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz is poised to make a big move to Italy with Juventus ahead of the transfer deadline.
HITC Football understands that Southampton talent Carlos Alcaraz is close to finalising a move to Italian giants Juventus.
The 21-year-old has been far from a firm part of Russell Martin’s plans and HITC understands the Saints boss confirmed to the Argentine he could leave.
Alcaraz is now heading to Turin with a big move to the Serie A powerhouse on the cards.
A loan deal with an option to buy worth around £30m is close to being agreed and Alcaraz is now set to depart St Mary’s just 12 months after arriving from Racing Club de Avellaneda.

Who is Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz?
Alcaraz emerged in his native Argentina with Racing Club and impressed with 12 goals and five assists from midfield.
Southampton came calling in January of last year, throwing Alcaraz into Premier League life despite their battles against relegation.
Alcaraz showed promise in the top flight though, bagging four goals and two assists in 18 games as the Saints ended up going down.
The 21-year-old has been in and out of the Saints side this season, starting 13 Championship games and coming off the bench in another 10.
Three goals and one assist isn’t a bad return but Southampton now seem ready to let Alcaraz make a big move to Juve.
The Serie A giants appear to see big potential in Alcaraz but he must still prove himself worthy of a permanent move to Italy.
Southampton have added two attacking players this month with Joe Rothwell and David Brooks arriving on loan from Bournemouth.
Both Rothwell and Brooks offer versatility in attacking midfield and wide roles so Southampton have now felt comfortable letting Alcaraz go whilst potentially bringing in a big fee for him down the line.
