Manchester United and Granada have now sealed an agreement for Facundo Pellistri to join the Spanish outfit on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign, HITC Football understands.
However, the Uruguay international will not definitely be returning to Old Trafford in the summer.

Manchester United to assess Facundo Pellistri future
Well, sources have told HITC Football that Manchester United are actually ready to sell the South American when his loan spell at Granada ends this summer, after initial discussions with the Spanish side took place earlier this month.
Pellistri’s future will be assessed internally at Old Trafford once the 2023/24 campaign is over, and a lot could change depending on how well the Uruguayan performs in La Liga.
However – as things stand – Manchester United are prepared to sell the man from Montevideo.
Pellistri has made just three starts under Erik ten Hag this season.
Despite the underwhelming performances of Antony, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, the 22-year-old simply cannot get a run in the starting XI.
Now – unless Pellistri excels in Spain – he could have already played his final game for Manchester United.
The Manchester United No.28 has made 24 appearances across all competitions since arriving in a £10m deal from Club Atletico Penarol back in 2020, providing two assists but failing to score.
HITC Football also understand that Granada will finalise Bryan Zaragoza’s future once a deal regarding Pellistri is arranged with Manchester United.
The Spaniard was supposed to be joining Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, although sources have told us that the deal will be brought forward to this month.
