- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
Al-Nassr are ready and willing to sign Manchester United star Casemiro this month, but the midfielder is keen on staying at Old Trafford, HITC Football understands.
Casemiro has been in and out of the Manchester United team this campaign with the Brazilian struggling with a whole host of injury problems but despite this, he is looking set to return to the first team set up for the Red Devils’ game against Newport County in the FA Cup this weekend.
Sources have told HITC Football that the Pro League have made Casemiro one of their top targets and Al Nassr are understood to be at the front of the queue to bring the former Real Madrid midfielder to Saudi Arabia.
Despite this, sources have also confirmed that the Brazilian is determined to remain at Old Trafford and fight for his future at the club.

Ronaldo influence
As well as this, HITC also understands that Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence has played a part in this deal being potentially on the table as the Portuguese star has encouraged Al-Nassr to make a move for the Brazilian.
Despite this, however, intermediaries have had contact with both United and Casemiro this month, but HITC is told that the Brazilian and his camp have told them a move is unlikely in January, hence why an offer from the Pro League is not forthcoming.
Despite this, the Pro League side have made it clear that if the 31-year-old shows any willingness to join the Middle Eastern side, they would make their move.
Wan Bissaka move
Casemiro is not the only United player that Al-Nassr are believed to be keen on with Aaron Wan-Bissaka also on their list of targets after their bid to sign Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur was turned down.
However, despite interest in the Englishman, HITC understands, at this moment in time, Wan-Bissaka, whose one-year extension in his contract has been taken up by the Red Devils, is keen on remaining in Manchester and signing a new contract with the club.
Talks have indeed taken place between United and the former Crystal Palace defender, which would end any hope of Al-Nassr’s pursuit of the 26-year-old.
