Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Dele Alli of Tottenham Hotspur are two of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has suggested in The Times that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba should be more like Tottenham Hotspur youngster Dele Alli.
Souness has stated that he has not been entirely convinced by Pogba, and has suggested that the France international should play more in the mould of Tottenham midfielder Alli.
Pogba, who is 23 years of age and rejoined United in the summer transfer window, has not been in great form so far this season.

The former Juventus star has played well in some matches, but he has yet to asset himself in the Premier League.
Alli’s 2016-17 campaign so far this campaign has not been great either, but the 20-year-old is, without doubt, one of the best young midfielders in the Premier League.
Former Liverpool midfielder Souness believes that Pogba should play in the mould of Alli.

“I’m not convinced Paul Pogba has found a position he is entirely comfortable with within the systems Mourinho has deployed,” Souness wrote in The Times.
“If he is going to have the impact his price tag demands then he needs to be getting ahead of the ball. At the moment, he is too often behind it.
“Let Michael Carrick play that role; it’s what he’s good at. I want to see Pogba play more in the mould of Dele Alli or my old teammate Terry McDermott — a raiding midfielder.”
Pogba is set to be in action this afternoon when United take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
The Red Devils will head into the match in London on the back of a 4-1 victory over Fenerbahce at Old Trafford in Europa League Group A.
