Graeme Souness has claimed on the Football Show that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are even bigger threats that the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane for Liverpool.
Mane and Salah have had wonderful seasons this year, with both of the Liverpool attackers scoring freely.
But Souness believes that Liverpool’s two biggest threats are actually their full-backs.
“I think there’s nothing to dislike about him [Robertson],” Souness said.
“The biggest threat if you’re playing against this Liverpool team is the two full-backs. Their energy levels, the way they attack, when they get in the wide areas because of the delivery…
“If I was setting up against them I’d sacrifice two wide players just to stop them.”

With Roberson and Alexander-Arnold so dangerous from wide areas, it makes Liverpool a huge challenge to defend against.
Most teams would like to defend narrow to limit the space available to Liverpool’s attacking talents, but by doing so, they only open up space for the full-backs.
That is often a fatal error when playing against Liverpool, as their delivery from wide areas is such a huge threat.
Alexander-Arnold has claimed 12 Premier League assists this season, while Robertson has seven to his name.
